Ten days that change the voltage
Korea is easy to flatten into Seoul + fried chicken. This list is for people who want a country with weather, coast, and one palace morning that does not eat the week.
Original Yomu ranking. Famous spots appear when they still pay rent in feeling.
- Seoul neighborhoods, not “all of Seoul.” Palaces AM, one night district. Seoul guide.
- Busan when you need salt. KTX, market, water. Busan.
- Jeju only with nights to spare. The island rule.
- Gyeongju if you want older Korea without a costume filter. Tombs, basins, a slower clock. Best as an overnight from Busan or a dedicated day — not a checkbox from Seoul.
- Bukhansan or a fortress walk when the city has been all neon. Wear shoes that have met dirt before.
- Jeonju for food that is a town, not a stall. Stay a night if bibimbap is going to be more than a caption.
- Sokcho / Seoraksan in the season that matches your knees. Mountains cancel plans. That is allowed.
- DMZ only if you want the history, not a thrill ride. Book official tours. Behave like it is a border, because it is.
- Suwon Hwaseong as a half-day from Seoul when you want walls and markets without leaving the metro-ish world entirely.
- A jjimjilbang evening — public, mixed common areas, follow the house rules. Not a date stunt. A reset.
If your Korea is only Gangnam Station exit 10, you visited a mall with better Wi-Fi.
